Upcycled Christmas Gift

Okay....so Charles, I mean we received a tin of cookies (We call them Carter cookies because our dog loves these) for Christmas. I decided to jazz them up a bit and dip them in Chocolate (milk and white). I plan to make raspberry cookie sandwiches with them later this week. This was a fun way to upcycle ordinary cookies.

Our Dinner

We decided we would prepare a simple dinner. We bought organic fresh green beans ( I prepared these with a light olive oil and vinegar marinade with sauteed red and yellow onions with tomatoes and green chilies. Charles prepared the tortellini. The tortellini was stuffed with a mixture of three cheeses and topped with a burgundy wine marinara sauce. Everything was delicious.

We have decided to eat more meatless dishes and organic foods. Wish us luck and send us your recipes!!!!!

Dinner

We made a Hawaiian pizza tonight. It turned out good. It had big chunks of pineapple and lots of cheese. The kids are gone and we have been attempting to occupy our time with odd events and adventures. We played a game of scrabble while we had dinner. I lost....imagine that.
